This content is not intended to replace instructional materials and suffices only to act as a review or on demand outline of instructional materials. Furthermore this material is weighted toward CSS 2.1 and not CSS3. As the opportunity presents itself information covering CSS3 will be added. All modern browsers support the vast majority of CSS 2.1, and these style rules will be the most reliable for pages where instructors are getting started creating instruction content for student wireless devices.

Note that this material is structured as HTML. Styles are implemented for the horizontal navigation bar and for hyperlinks. Otherwise the content renders as a combination of headers and lists. The point being that for instructors that do not have access to a content management system (CMS), are not familiar with javascript libraries, or do not have access to any sort of server side technology this method of creating content for student phones is readily available. Using Headers and lists on an html page will render closely to the widest variety of wireless devices. If you open these pages on a laptop or desktop you will see that the navigation bar is fixed with but the content will render across the page. If you open this content on a wireless access device...I have a Blackberry - you will see that the navigation bar fits the screen and the content is wrapped to also fit the screen. Using very little technology content can be created as instructional materials for student phones.

Click on "Lessons" above to access individual content pages. The content is loosely based on materials from several other resources and is intended for reference only. Every attempt is made to test all information in IE, FireFox, Safari, Opera, and Chrome browsers. Availability of the content is also tested using iPhone and Blackberry wireless devices.
